NRVYCA Spring Season & VAHS Race Series

 The VAHS Spring Series is an opportunity to experience youth mountain bike racing through USA Cycling. The season runs from March to May and offers athletes the opportunity to race some courses that differ from the NICA fall race series. Here in the New River Valley, the NRVYCA sponsors elementary aged athletes through high school senior age and provides opportunities to practice on our local trails with certified coaches.

Interested in riding with us and/or racing the VAHS Spring Series? Spring NRVYCA rides and practices will be open to all levels of youth mountain bikers ages 1st grade through high school senior for the 2024-25 School Year.

Fill out the Interest Form below if you would like to participate in the VAHS Spring race series and social rides for Spring 2025! 


NEW for 2025: A Participation Fee is required! These fees helps the NRVYCA cover important operating costs like insurance, coach training, first aid kit supplies, and equipment. 


2025 Participation Fees

  • $75/rider per season OR
  • $150/family per season (2 or more student athletes)
